UV16
 LightGuard is pleased to announce the release of our
multi-application emergency lighting unit - the
UV16. The design is sleek and compact, but the
UV16 is loaded with options and powerful halogen
lamps for impressive illumination. The UV16 is
an attractive emergency light while at the same time
suitable for damp/wet location and vandal prone
areas.
Illumination is provided by two high performance
5.5 watt, 6 VDC MR16-style halogen lamps. The
lamps are held in an attractive molded swivel
assembly and fully adjustable. When mounted on
18' centers (8' AFF) the UV16 will
provide an average of one footcandle along a linear
path of egress.
The UV16 is equipped for a variety of
environments including extreme temperatures and high
abuse areas. With our heater option the UV16 can
withstand
extreme
cold
temperatures
down
to
5oF
(-15oC). The standard unit is damp
location listed and all units include a tamperproof
screw kit.
