A maintenance free, nickel cadmium battery supplies 90 minutes of emergency operation. Illumination of the exit stencil face is accomplished with long lasting, high output LEDs. Hot spots and striations are eliminated by a combination of indirect and direct aiming points covering the exit stencil face.
