Architectural Fully Recessed Emergency Lighting 12 Volt, 72 Watt Units with Smart Charger Self-Diagnostics

Illusion is a fully recessed, architectural emergency lighting unit that remains unobtrusive even when illuminated. Illusion provides an alternative to standard mounted emergency lighting. Illusion offers universal wall and ceiling recessed mounting using lenses specific for each installation type. Mechanical or sheetrock ceiling installation is enabled using optional bar hangers or structural support wire (supplied by others). Illusion meets the Buy American requirements.

Illumination is provided by two high-performance 35 watt MR16 lamps combined with a reflector system. Optical assemblies can be rotated from 0° to 90° for corner installations. When using multiple fixtures, wall mounted versions can generate an average of one footcandle of emergency illumination over a 4' x 35' egress path, while ceiling mounted versions can broadcast an average of one footcandle over a 6' x 90' egress path.

A 120/277 dual voltage input with surge protection and Smart Charger for self-diagnostics allows Illusion to serve as an emergency lighting unit with the most reliable charging system available on the market. Standard Smart Charger self-diagnostics continuously monitors all critical functions of Illusion and the self-testing option satisfies the monthly periodic testing requirements in NFPA 101 and the IBC. A maintenance-free, sealed lead calcium battery supplies 90 minutes of emergency power.
